EBSL Mission

The EBSL - and thus the MVST - is dedicated to providing swimmers of the member teams with an opportunity to swim in a summer recreational league.

This is achieved within professionally coached environments which foster sportsmanship, cooperation, team spirit, self-discipline, individual responsibility and respect for other competitors within the framework of a well-balanced athletic experience.

Mission Valley Swim TEAM (MVST)

The Club is host to the Barracudas Swim Team. The Swim team is an independent non-profit organization. The Team rents the club facilities for practice and meets.

Many club members are also members of the Barracuda swim team.

The Barracudas are a summer recreational swim team affiliated with the East Bay Swim League (EBSL).

  2001 - 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005 - 2006 - 2007- 2008 - 2009 - ...

The Barracudas hold the distinction of being the first team in the East Bay Swim League history to win the championship 9 years in a row.

If your child loves to swim, consider joining the Barracudas. The swim team starts practice in late April and has weekly swimmeets in June - July.
